Cividale Group acquires 25% of Rössl & Duso

Rossl & Duso was assisted by the lawyer Federica Bugaro, partner of the law firm of the same name, while for the tax part and due diligence by the Padua-based SC&A studio with a team composed of the partner Francesco Ferri de Lazara assisted by the associate Luca Lombardo and collaborator Tommaso Gazzea.

An operation that for Rossl & Duso represents an important commercial reinforcement aimed at increasing revenues. Active since 1969 in Vedelago (Treviso), the company specializes in precision machining (boring, milling, turning, grinding) for the production of steel products, particularly in the following sectors: energy (wind, gas, steam, hydroelectric, nuclear), iron and steel, naval, spare parts and mechanics. Recently Rossl & Duso built the steel components for the pumps of the new Austrian hydroelectric power station Obervermuntwerk under construction at a depth of 1000 meters between Lake Silvretta and Vermuntsee which will produce over 360 Mega Watts of clean energy.

The Cividale Group, established at the end of the 1960s in the Cividale del Friuli (Udine) plant, began a program of acquisitions in the metallurgical sector in 1977, in the sectors of steel foundry and forge and components becoming one of the main producers at European level in the steel and cast iron foundry sector and in the forge sector with a turnover of around 300 million euros and factories throughout North East Italy including Udine, Pordenone, Gorizia, Venice and Treviso
